Cllr Guy Humphries
Guy Humphries has made his home in Southfields since 1982. Having raised his family here he values the extraordinary community, great schools and green spaces around us.
Guy became a well-known face running a patisserie and café on Replingham Road for many years. Nowadays he has a successful local handyman company. As a small business owner, Guy understands the challenges, and is committed to supporting both our high street and the many voluntary groups he works with locally.
Guy was proudly elected to the Council in 2010. As an experienced former cabinet member and erstwhile Chair of the Planning Committee, Guy has positively influenced development in Wandsworth. His opposition to the AELTC’s expansion plans meant not only voting against, but speaking as part of the Save Wimbledon Park (SWP) team at City Hall.
In what spare time remains, Guy can usually be found nearby, getting involved, whether tinkering with his old car, or volunteering at the Repair Café.
Guy stands up for his residents and is determined to keep Southfields a special place to raise both families and successful businesses.
