Across Balham Ward, residents have complained to us that bin collections have deteriorated since Labour took control of Wandsworth Council - and we’ve gone backwards in terms of quality and ecient service.
Residents tell us that food waste and recycling collections are missed for weeks at a time - leading to many saying they’ve now given up on putting these out. If you vote for a Conservative Council on 7th May, we will work with council officers and contractors to improve waste collections and street cleaning. We will bring CCTV to problem spots, and issue more penalties for littering and dog fouling.
