Across Balham Ward, residents have complained to us that bin collections have deteriorated since Labour took control of Wandsworth Council - and we’ve gone backwards in terms of quality and ecient service. Residents tell us that food waste and recycling collections are missed for weeks at a time - leading to many saying they’ve now given up on pu‑ing these out. Bins and bags don’t get collected properly leaving filthy pavements, rotting food, and problems with foxes and rats on the streets. Despite multiple complaints and lots of reporting to the Labour Council, they have still not improved after almost four years. This Labour Council have given taxpayers a disastrous service and failed to take control... It’s time this service went back to good, Conservative efficiency.
