Cllr Aled Richards-Jones
Aled has served as a Northcote councillor since 2018. He’s lived locally for more than 10 years and loves this part of London.
When the Conservatives ran Wandsworth Council, Aled held various senior positions, including Chair of the Finance Committee where he ensured taxpayers got value for money, and Cabinet Member for Economic Development, during which he led the Council’s efforts to help local businesses recover from the effects of the covid-19 pandemic. Aled currently serves as the Leader of the Conservative Group on the council.
Aled works as a barrister, specialising in intellectual property and technology law. As his name suggests, he is originally from West Wales. He is married and is the doting owner of an adopted Jack Russell terrier called Guto (also from West Wales).
James Craig
James is incredibly excited to be one of the local candidates for the election next year. His top priorities for the area are to work with the neighbourhood police to target crime, to make sure our community spaces are preserved, and to fight for the reintroduction of the Northcote Road pedestrianisation scheme.
James currently runs the busy Westminster office of an MP, prior to which he worked for as a Press Officer for Conservative Campaign Headquarters. Originally from Blackpool, he has lived locally for the last three years.
