Kerry Briscoe selected as the Parliamentary Candidate for Tooting

Tooting Conservatives have chosen their candidate to fight the next General Election.

Following a packed selection meeting at Tooting Conservative Club, local Conservative party members voted overwhelmingly for Kerry Briscoe to spearhead the drive to win back the parliamentary seat from Labour.

Kerry has lived in London for the last 13 years. With a background in finance, she hopes to inspire social mobility through education and make the people of Tooting proud to be part of a prosperous country. In her spare time Kerry is a Trustee of a local educational charity.

On her selection Kerry Briscoe said:

“I am honoured to be chosen by the membership to stand as the Conservative candidate for Tooting in the next General Election.

“I am truly grateful to be given this opportunity and will strive to represent the people, families and businesses of our community.

“I will be a strong voice on local issues, including the things I am passionate about which include high standards of education for all and social mobility.”

Louise Calland, Conservative Greater London Assembly Candidate for Merton and Wandsworth said:

“I am really looking forward to campaigning with Kerry on the issues that matter in Tooting. Kerry is a committed, determined and exciting new Parliamentary candidate who offers a real alternative to the Labour Party candidate whose policies would bankrupt the country and be disastrous for the people of Tooting.”
