Clare has been a councillor in Balham and Clapham South since 2014. Currently the Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care, Clare has led on the borough’s response to the Coronavirus including working with Public Health England on test, trace and surge testing, supporting our most vulnerable residents and those leaving hospital and working with the NHS to promote vaccine uptake. Clare has held a number of roles on the council since she joined in 2014, prior to which she was a management consultant primarily in the energy sector.
Clare has four boys, loves living locally and especially enjoys working with local people to keep Balham and Clapham South such a great place to live, work and enjoy life.
Emmeline has lived locally for over fifteen years and is a passionate champion of Clapham South and Balham. She spent over ten years as governor and chair of a Wandsworth ‘outstanding’ school and both of her children go to local state schools. Emmeline is a business consultant and following her degrees in economics and initial career in the EU, she spent seven years in industry and ten in financial services institutions.
Having lived in the area for over thirteen years, Lynsey is an active member of the Clapham South and Balham community. A local school governor (chair of finance and planning, human resources, and premises), environmentalist and a campaigner for promoting gender equality. Lynsey works in the city financial services sector focusing on regulatory change projects. A keen runner she is committed to open green spaces and keeping our Commons clean for everyone to enjoy.
